26 Mar Bringing Cult-ED to life
Relationships was the special theme in which the Dutch school Alphons Laudy immersed itself in the month of March. The lessons of World Orientation were devoted to questions like who are all your relations, what do they mean to you and what is your role? JNF had the tremendous privilege of participating in the road down to communities, traditions and rituals.
Making collages of childhood photos, preparing traditional dishes from their various cultures and discovering their own interests, gave the students an inspiring insight into their own identity, the importance of their background to themselves and their role in the different communities they belong to.
When bringing Cult-ED alive, culture, traditions, rituals are so much more than just questions on a piece of paper. Cult-ED becomes an experience. The stories and the videos take you on a journey to different places across the world and besides learning from other lifestyles, the impressions let you value your own habits, culture and traditions. You can register and find the lessons on our website. What are your ideas on bringing Cult-ED alive?
