24 Oct We have a new website!
Last month (September 2018) we launched our new website and we are proud to say that it is now completely ready! From a new focus for the projects, to a new team, the Jimmy Nelson Foundation has been going through some changes since the beginning of the summer. Hence, we wanted the website to represent these changes and everything the Foundation stands for and is doing.
After the pilot project in Hungary, the JNF team saw the need to create a page on the website where the projects could easily be laid out. With the new website design, all projects from the Circle of Cultural Connection can be found under the tab “projects”. As it is the case with the Csikós’ project, all projects will have their own theme color, a journal written by the volunteers during the trip, interviews of members of the community documented, a gallery with the best 10 photos of the volunteers, and a small description of the team members.
Another exciting change, has been going from a red logo to a turquoise (or similar to it). We wanted a peaceful and refreshing color; a color that could represent growth and be appealing to our audience. As you navigate through our website, you can find this new theme color spread around the site on elements such as buttons, dates, titles, etc.
As the name suggests, the Jimmy Nelson Foundation derived from the work of the photographer Jimmy Nelson and continues to be inspired by his work. Taking into consideration that his latest book was launched last September, we also updated all the photos on the website.
We invite you to go on the website and discover all the elements of our new image. Check our new world map which will little by little be filled with our projects around the world, spot our symbols throughout the site, see our new system for donations, and much more! We hope you like our new website as much as we do.
